Nature Girl

Hello ladies.

Music is literature, and only some people understand it; there are many aspects and areas and genres that one should know. Yet, a lot of people don't know; they think that they do, but actually don't. Take a famous singer. How many do you think know Pie Jesu or any of the classics that are out there? The answer? Probably not many, but like literature there are genres, that you should be well rounded in, no? - Yes. From Oliver Twist to Gossip Girl, there are equals in music, such as Habanera and Just Dance. Yet we all read and play and sing what we do becasue it makes us happy, but what is the definition of happy? Or do just do what you know is popular so you become successful, but what is successful defined as?

Happy - favored by fortune; fortunate or lucky
Successful - having attained wealth, position, honors, or the like

Did that just confuse you? Ok let me clarify... There are many aspects to happiness, one of them being success. But what makes you sucessful, and does that in turn make you happy. Are any of them related at all? Or do you need and want to do what you think is right so that one day in the future, you and your kids will be happy, but then, what defines your kids happiness? I have been thinking a lot about the future lately and this is in my head and it won't come out. So now you know my thoughts for the last few days.... I am sorry.

So I sent all of you letters when I was at the lake... idk when you are going to get them I just thought that you should know.

Summer: what is summer? A fun happy time where you chill, relax, and prepare yourslef for the next school year? Apparently thats not what it is any more. We are 16 and pathetically busy, yes some of it is enjoyable for us and some of it sucks. - Random thought of me... jic you were wondering.

So my next few blogs until September will be boring. I have the same routine schedule through August: Wake up at 6:30 am and get ready for work. Work from 8 - 5:30. Depending on the day, community service afterwards, learn Chemistry, SAT Prep, do more work when I get home, or do work for school. Its thrilling, is it not? JK.

So yeah, for me September is the month to look forward to. The extracirricualrs that I actually enjoy: chorus, select chorus (if I audition and get it...) peer tutor, maybe debate team, Melodies of Chirstmas, ESYC, voice lessons, and community service, not to bad, maybe i will join something else... and then the school musical! I can start this long and crappy year, so that in 10 months in will be over. My brother's Costa Rican exchange student will be coming for 2 weeks (starting Sept. 11), hopefully he will be attractive... but idk. And the parties will start around Sept. 1st. My friends love any excuse to have a party so there'll be end of summer parties, begginning of school parties, and one of my faves.... Columbus Day. A random holiday not usually celebrated, except for me and my friends.

So my blogs are long, I am sorry. I am really busy, as we all are, and when that happens I don;t make any sense. I hope all of you are having fun with life, don't push yourself too hard, Ik, very hypocritical, but my life sounds more busy than it actually is...
